COPD: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
By Sat Avtar Kaur

Sat Avtar Kaur

I have COPD and I wear oxygen tubes up my nose. I coil and uncoil 100 feet of breathing tubes walking around the house. In Dec of 2011 I ended up in the ER with severe breathing problems and went home a week later with Oxygen.

I went to the ER Dec 2013 and that was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. They put a mask over my nose and mouth and this machine forced air and oxygen into and out of my lungs for hours. Breathing for me, until the antibiotics and steroids took affect. They kept me a week and I had breathing treatments off and on all day long.

The weeks cost was over $52,000. The hospital wrote off $44,000 and got a tax break. Medicare only pays 80% of anything. The state has a department that helps out and still my bill was too high so I applied for help to a charity group and got it. Thank God.

When I go out of the house I take a 12" metal cylinder with oxygen in it and at home there is a machine that runs night and day sending oxygen to me. It ain't fun. I never smoked, but my dad did. That cigar smoke found me no matter where I was, then being the only non-smoker in a 4 story building. Different times and different understandings.

After I was diagnosed, I realized that I did not breathe while walking and I did not inhale deep enough or long enough. You have to teach yourself how to breathe again.

What you can do:

FasterEFT is one of the BEST modalities I have ever found, this is only 3 taps on the face, one on the chest and 2 more things do while saying "Let it Go". I use it all day long, every day and I have been restructuring my life. If I am having trouble breathing, F-EFT can change it for me. (I might even be able to get off the oxygen doing it.) http://fastereft.com/

My cat started peeing blood so I tapped for her and got it stopped and it never came back. I also tapped on the unknown reason this happened. FasterEFT is body - mind talk and it works.

Spring Forest Qigong is another one to take a look at. I got in on one of the campaigns and I do think this one works too. But you have to do it, and at the time I took (before FasterEFT) I could not make myself do it. I realized, I did not want to get well. [well, I just tapped on this again, right now writing this] But I do want to get well and have a life again.

To get well doing Spring Forest Qigong, you have to do it 5-hours a day. Get started here: http://www.springforestqigong.com/index.php/getting-started.

I found that Conscious Breathing helped me, I really do it when I walk and do have the breathing tubes with me. I also walk without the oxygen, too. Doing Conscious Breathing while walking, keeps the oxygen saturation level up in the 90s mostly at about 93% and sometimes at 96%. If I forget to do CB when walking across the room, then the oxygen level will fall down to 85% and sometimes 75%. That is not good.

I have one of those finger monitors. I got mine at the local drugstore for $40 compared to the $100 that the medical supply place wanted. I don't think they work any better at $100. So I check my levels when I do not have the breathing tubes on.

When I am sick, I can't maintain the high levels, so I keep the oxygen on.

I coil and uncoil the oxygen breathing tubes as I walk around the house. I have coat hooks on the walls and I lay the tubes on this to keep them off the floor so no one trips and falls.

Also see Long Deep Breathing.

Breath of Fire is another one.

You can inhale and grasp your ankles and pull yourself down exhaling everything even past wheezing to get the stale prana and air out of your lungs, all of it. Then inhale and do again.

This one I just learned about in a class I am taking on the voice.

Inhale hold the breath in and do as many spinal flexes as you can. Maybe 3 minutes worth or more.

Sat Kriya - 3 minutes minimum or more - General physical health is improved, all the internal organs receive a gentle rhythmic massage from this exercise and the heart gets stronger. Click here.

Himalayan Salt Inhaler is very good to use. It keeps the lungs clear. I use it.

This one is also good, Expand-a-Lung. And Fitness Training helps as well. You're inhaling and exhaling against a resistance and you set the level.

Also see PowerLung.

The first line of defense:

If I think I may have caught something or have a cold starting, I take this and it really works fast. It's the homeopathic Oscillococcinum, and you should be able to get it at any health food store or at Amazon.

Oregano Tincture is one of the strongest antibacterial essential oils. The oil may be best used when a strong response to bacterial infection is needed; it has a broad spectrum of bactericidal and anti-microbial action. It can be taken internally.

I get capsules from Amazon with 6 drops of oil in olive oil. NOTE: Oregano must be taken with olive oil. Otherwise it can be very dangerous. The first sign of a cold dropping into my lungs, I start taking it and I have stayed off the Z-paks. I take it when the cold is either in my head or just dropped into the lungs and before it turns into pneumonia. I take it and many times it works. When it does not and I have gotten so I can tell because there is a spot in my lungs that hurts before there is any coughing or mucus and that is when i take the Z-pak and I have it at home. One always gets sick when the doctor's office is closed.

Oil of Oregano with soap to wash hands or skin after exposure to public washrooms or close contact with other people such as shaking hands, kissing or crowded environments such classrooms, airplanes, buses etc.

Oil of Oregano can be added to water in a mister and sprayed around the house to kill bacteria, mold and viruses in the air.

Use a drop or two on a sponge or wet cloth for cleaning kitchen counters, sinks, stoves; and refrigerators in order to kill microbes.

The Cure is in the Cupboard by Dr. Cass Ingram is an excellent book.

Even my new Dentist has heard of Oregano and how good it is.

Olive Leaf extract is another one.

I hope this helps. -- More.

FACTOID

Due to the power and corrupting influence of Big Pharma, the teaching
of nutritional science and the use of vitamin and herbal supplements is
not taught to any significant extent in our medical schools. The obvious
reason is that teaching this science reduces the use of prescription drugs.
