SIKH DHARMA 13's MISSION

Our mission is to promote chardi kala around the world.
Our scope of service includes promoting diversity and cultural
competency
as taught by Guru Nanak Dev Ji, thereby bringing to
the fore issues of color and caste for the purpose of uplifting people

who have a history of being marginalized, using social media and other
means as platforms to inform various communities of the life experiences
and concerns of marginalized people with regard to the necessity for social
change, social justice, inclusion, compassion, tolerance, cultural literacy,
and growth in our human relations going forward in order to better facilitate
the current worldwide shift in global consciousness from tribalism, instability,
and extremism, to harmony, cooperation and enduring peace. And furthermore,
we welcome and support other organizations that promote the transformation of
consciousness
as taught by Guru Nanak Dev Ji throughout his life and travels.

The technology as taught by the Siri Singh Sahib, aka Yogi Bhajan, has
the power to uplift humanity and to expand awareness without the use of drugs
or external stimulation. ACT's mission is to advocate and teach the practice of
Kundalini Yoga as directed by Yogi Bhajan for which we seek the assistance of
organizations in the United States, India, and around the world. Furthermore, it is
our blessed privilege to advocate diversity and cultural competency as taught
by Guru Nanak Dev, thereby bringing to the fore issues of color and gender for
the advancement of all people who have a history of being marginalized, using social
media and other means as platforms to inform various communities of the experiences
and concerns of marginalized people with regard to the necessity for the social change,
social justice, inclusion, compassion, tolerance, cultural literacy, and growth in our
human relations going forward in order to better facilitate the transformation of global
consciousness from tribalism, instability and extremism, to harmony and cooperation.

NOTE: On numerous occasions Yogi Bjajan Ji directed his students of Yoga and Meditation in the West to teach the technology to the people of India and the East. He also directed Sikhs of India to teach Sikh Dharma to people of the West. See Siri Singh Sahib's Directive 2001. See Drug Addiction In Punjab. See Man Quits Drugs, Becomes A Sikh.

Ang Sang Wahe Guru

Ang Sung Wahe Guru celebrates the realization that there is no piece or part of ourselves,
no action, and no life that is not already the living vibration of the Infinite. IT is all God.
We are all one unified, pluralistic field of Diversity. See YouAreTheEssence.com.

SPECIAL INVITATION
DEG TEGH FATEH YATRA
FREE ROOM AND BOARD OFFER
FOR KUNDALINI YOGA TEACHERS AND STUDENTS
SPONSORED AND FUNDED BY AKAL COMMITTEE 13*

New Year's Eve, Golden Temple, Amritsar, India

Shri Patna Sahib, Birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh

Attention Prospective Yatra Participants

Sat Nam. The Deg Tegh Fateh Yatra is a spiritual journey for Teachers and Students of Kundalini Yoga and Sikh Dharma from around the world. Sponsored and funded by ACT, Akal Committee 13, and Sikh Dharma 13, this year's Yatra will depart for India December 26, 2016, and return January 08, 2017. ACT is blessed by God's grace with the resources to offer free room and board for participating Teachers and Students. This means that full accommodations and meals will be provided.

*AKAL means Undying. Akal implies a state of being, which is ageless, infinite, immortal and timeless, the true state. AKAL describes ACT's undying mission as teachers, which is based on the principal that it is incumbent on those who know to teach those who do not know. Akal (Akaal) literally means timeless, immortal, non-temporal, a term integral to Sikh tradition and philosophy. It is extensively used in the Dasam Granth hymns by Guru Gobind Singh. See Example. (Kindly visit our sister-site at AkalCommittee13.com.)

The number 13 (and the word thirteen) represent the Sanskrit symbol, , meaning One Creator of Creation. Sanskrit is the ancient Indic language of India, in which the Hindu scriptures and classical Indian epic poems are written and from which many northern Indian languages are derived. See Glossary of Sikh Terms.

ACT requests Yatra participants to arrive in New Delhi on December 26th from where we will proceed directly to Amritsar. The Yatra will end in New Delhi on January 08, 2017, after which participants may choose to stay longer at their own expense.

While in India Deg Tegh Fateh Yatra participants will serve ACT's stated Mission by: 1.) exploring the idea of setting up Teacher Training facilities in India, wherein Kundalini Yoga Teachers are encouraged to share their knowledge of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan with the Indian populace, 2.) promoting and inspiring the Indian populace to practice Guru's technology, and 3.) meeting with individuals and organizations that promote and inspire the technology.

BTW: Deg Tegh Fateh Yatra is open to Kundalini Yoga Teachers and Students and any Sikh Dharma Teachers who want to share their knowledge and experience with the people of India. You will not be required to teach or train in India on this exploratory Yatra, and there are no strict or hard rules about your teaching experience, except to actively share your knowledge and experience of Kundalini Yoga. Once a Teacher Training facility is organized and established in India at a future date, ACT requests that participating Kundalini Yoga Teachers consider visiting India on a regular basis to teach and train individuals who want to become Level 1 Kundalini Yoga Teachers. Please read on.

Ek Ong Kar
Ex Uno Plures
Source  of  Self

One Creator - One Diversity
God and me, me and God are One.

POINTS TO PONDER

The word-symbol (13) is derived from Gurmukhi, meaning One Creator of Creation; From One Many, or Ex Uno Plures, meaning all things come from One Source, i.e. all mankind comes from One Creator as championed by the 15th century Sikh Master, Guru Nanak. When stylized in English characters, is represented by the number 13, as in Akal Committee Thirteen, or more simply, the acronym ACT. See God and me, me and God are One.

NOTE: In the eyes of the enlightened student of religion, there is only One Creator; the same Creator worshipped by various religions, and known by various names and descriptions, e.g., in Islam, it's Allah; in Christianity and Judaism, it's GOD (the Generator, Organizer, Destroyer); in Hinduism, it's Ram; in Sikhism, it's Wahe Guru or Akal Purkh. These are all the same Infinite Being masquerading as the diversity of creation while wearing the mask of what Sikhs, Hindus and others call Maya.
